Dr. Thanes Vanig
Dr. Thanes Vanig is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Vanig graduated Magna Cum Laude from Mahidol University where he completed medical school as a King’s Scholar, Thailand’s highest scholastic honor. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Harvard Medical School-affiliated program in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Dr. Vanig also received his Postdoctoral Fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Stanford University Medical School, California.
Dr. Vanig is respected by other physicians not only for his exceptional care but his innovative medical insight.
Dr. Vanig opened his Phoenix practice in 1998. His practice focuses on Primary Care and Preventative Care for all adults. With his specialty training in Infectious Diseases, he also has extensive insight and up-to-date knowledge in HIV Medicine. He has become internationally recognized in this field, having been invited to speak and had his research published at international conferences. He serves as an advisor and sought-after lecturer for many pharmaceutical companies.
Dr. Vanig is a member of many professional societies including the American Academy of HIV Medicine, HIV Medical Association, and the American College of Physicians. He is the author for a major HIV website, www.thebody.com, where his expertise has significant global readership.
Maximo Santos is a Nurse Practitioner (NP-C), certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
Maxx finished his HIV- AIDS and Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner Specialty at Duke University in North Carolina which also included PrEP, PEP and transgender care. Prior to that, he completed his master of science in nursing (MSN) in the adult-geriatric primary care nurse practitioner program at the University of Cincinnati in Ohio in 2013. He is currently working in getting his Doctor of Nursing Practice at Duke University to be completed in 2019.
Isabel Brady, PA-C
After 12 years in the field of social work, Isabel returned to college to become a Physician Assistant. She graduated from Pacific University with a Masters degree in 2004. She retired from the Maricopa County Department of Public Health in 2017. Isabel has worked in various areas of HIV care since 1991. She has been passionately involved with the LGBTQ community for over 30 years. Isabel specializes in PrEP, PEP, HRT and transgender care.
